On pre-OS5 devices I used lot of hacks and improvements (McPhlinkg and others) but for OS5 I wasn't able to find anything which would satisfy me. Well: functions were pretty good but performace was poor - most applications didn't use optimalized way of calling background tasks so they slow down the Palm a lot! This was time to start my own development: MultiLauncher which was modified always I needed new function. The main advantage for me is: whatever I do - I do in the way I want. No preformance slow-down or other drawbacks there are...
